The Pork Teriyaki Taco Tastes Good And Is Nutritious For You!

by Greg Scott

Living in South Florida has so many advantages! From the beaches to the food, you will not go home disappointed! I have been dining in South Florida for quite a while, and I can guarantee there's no other place like it. Lately I have been ordering tacos from South Florida establishments. You would be surprised at what I've come up with! The number of unique flavor combinations and ingredients that I've been introduced to are phenomenal. Wait until you hear about the chicken Teriyaki taco!

First of all, I was served three soft shell tortillas. They were so warm and fresh that I saw the steam rising up them off the plate! It was a relief to see that I would not be leaving hungry. I can't stand paying money for what just isn't enough food. I am so glad that wasting my money is never an issue in a South Florida establishment.

The teriyaki sauce that this taco promises is unlike any that I've ever seen, heard of, or tasted. It is a pineapple teriyaki sauce that is incredible and made fresh every day. It absolutely redefined teriyaki sauce for me. I'll never be satisfied with another attempt at teriyaki sauce, this just can't be beat!

However, the pineapple teriyaki is not what your taco should start off with. South Florida puts it on as one of the last ingredients so that it soaks up with the rest. So you should really begin with your options of protein. Among steak, chicken, chicken breast, and pork, there are two vegetarian options. The first is a savory black bean hummus that will drive all hummus fans crazy! The second consists of plain black beans and guacamole, which is also extremely tasty.

The veggies section is where variety really opens up. The teriyaki taco calls for some really delicious vegetables that are essential to the style of the taco. Cucumbers are where to begin in this section. The cool, refreshing taste that this ingredient brings to your taco will leave you with no doubt. I was indeed skeptical at first, but only to be astonished after tasting it!

After that, you'll want to throw in some diced green onions. I was also unfamiliar with diced green onions on tacos, so this would be new to me too. I can always count on Florida burritos to show me tastes I've never encountered before! They're unique combinations are seriously off the map!

The last ingredient out of the veggies section that you'll use for the teriyaki is pickled carrots. These pickled carrots were amazing and with the pineapple teriyaki sauce that trademarks this taco, I was blown out of the water. My three soft tortillas had quickly turned into a healthy and hearty meal before my eyes, and the taste was even better than the way it looked!

Finally, to put the finishing touches on everything, a few sesame seed are sprinkled on top of each taco. I really enjoyed this last subtle ingredient. I thought it was completely appropriate for the style of the taco, as well as for the taste. All of the ingredients, even though I was skeptical about some, were absolutely delectable. The textures and flavors were out of this world!

jupiter grills continue to surprise me with tastes like the ones in the pork Teriyaki taco. I'm going again tonight to try yet another flour taco style from one of these establishments! I'm officially addicted!
